With an extensive and high performing status in Powerlifting, Matt places a strong importance on correcting biomechanics and managing muscle imbalances before it places risk on the body. Having seen an array of clients, all with different descriptions of pain and injuries, Matt has become well-versed in the connection each part of the body has with another. Having encountered many sport-sustained injuries himself, his ability to relate to his clients and advise self-management principles add a certain wealth to his treatments. His passion and drive to achieve results for his clients stems from his core, and he believes utilising every second of his treatment is vital to executing success. The beginning of his career saw Tim treating a lot of clients competing at an elite-level within their respective sports, giving him a ground-level understanding of the impact each sport can have on your body. Tim’s ability to successfully incorporate multiple techniques into his treatments allow him and his clients to stay on top of their game.

Dry Needling

Our practice of dry needling involves acupuncture needles inserted into the myofascial trigger points with positive results for alleviating tension and managing local or referred pain.

Joint mobilisation

Axiom therapists use Joint mobilisation to help increase range of motion and decrease pain/discomfort in a joint. By applying passive force, our therapists are able to achieve a greater change within your body than self-stretching as the muscles provide less resistance.

Remedial Massage

Our remedial massages address the individuals’ injuries and any postural or joint problems. This aids in reducing pain through manipulating soft tissue and improving circulation.

PNF stretching

PNF or Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation is a stretching technique used to increase active and passive ranges of movement.
